Round Robin Circular Tour

Overview

Between April and end of October, take a leisurely one and a quarter hour river trip from Totnes to Dartmouth, along one of Britain’s most beautiful waterways.

Times vary according to tidal conditions. It is not always possible to do a return boat trip so please check before you travel.

The Round Robin is an ideal day excursion taking you on a bus, boat and heritage steam train journey between Totnes, Dartmouth and Paignton. Of course, journeys need to be planned according to the tide and steam train timetable. Buy tickets at the kiosk on Steamer Quay in Totnes, or in Totnes Information Centre (who also sell the Jubilee Pass) or online.

Refer to the website for timetables or for more details of the trips available or ring the ‘Days Out Advisors’ on 01803 555872.

Parking in Totnes: Steamer Quay Car Park, along Steamer Quay Road, or at Longmarsh further down the same road.

Social Fabric

Social Fabric is a modern, fun craft shop and workshop space in Totnes. They sell gorgeous yarns, fabrics, kits, books, haberdashery and more! You can also learn new skills or dust down old ones here but not in the way you learnt to sew at school! They are relaxed, friendly and their workshops are informal but they all produce stunning results.

They teach the age-old arts of knitting, crochet, quilting and dressmaking but in a very 21st century way. They also make loads of lovely lampshades... either with you in a class or for you as a bespoke service. This is a truly creative, community space. Do drop in and see what's going on!

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm
