the bowie gallery

Overview

the bowie gallery is a well-established art gallery in Totnes, having shown a good range of contemporary art since 2008.

Situated in the High street, a stone’s throw from the market place, you will find paintings, sculpture, ceramics and jewellery, mostly from artists who have a strong connection with the South West, as well as often national and international profiles. These include Michael Honnor, Lucianne Lassalle, Thorie Hinds, James Stewart, Rosie Sanders and Sarah Gillespie.

The gallery also shows a collection of chairs, under the banner arseart! www.arseart.com. Most works are available to purchase under the arts council supported OWNart scheme – interest-free over 10 months.

Open TUESDAY – SATURDAY 10-4 and Mondays by appointment, this little gallery is well worth a visit.
