Stoke Gabriel Lodgings

The Tall House Bed And Breakfast

A very warm welcome awaits you at The Tall House, including tea and cake! The Tall House is at least 200 years old, we can trace its occupancy back to the early 19th century. It was the first village Post Office. The curved shape of the house is reflected inside, and the rooms contain many attractive features and bespoke fittings made by your host, who is a talented furniture maker. Rendered, and with a slate roof, a pretty English country style garden fronts the property which has views over the surrounding pastoral farmland. Your large room is recently and tastefully refurbished and has a comfortable seating area with a view of the surrounding farmland from the huge sash window. Attached to your room is a private en suite with a toilet and shower.  Coffee and tea making facilities are provided and a full English breakfast using local and organic ingredients. Unfortunately we do not accept four legged friends.

Lower Cobberton

A warm friendly welcome in our cosy old country farmhouse. Homemade tea and cake on arrival. Homemade local produce and our eggs for our scrumptious breakfasts. Enjoy and relax in the quiet garden by the stream. Close to A38, central for exploring. Small self catering unit/yurt available all year, camping during the summer. Special diets and evening meals on request. Special winter deals available. Local tours and taxi service available.

The Great Grubb

A short walk from the town but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle is our family-run B&B ‘The Great Grubb’. The Cott Inn
