The Cott Inn

The Cott Inn is a stunning 14th-century thatched pub situated in the peaceful village of Dartington, less than 2 miles from Totnes and surrounded by beautiful countryside. This family owned inn serves award winning food and local ales and ciders, and offers overnight accommodation in luxury boutique bedrooms.

Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with cosy log fires during the winter months and a large pretty garden with a new alfresco kitchen serving delicious food throughout the summer. Weekly events include the famous fish and chip night on Tuesday evenings serving fresh locally line-caught fish, fabulous Sunday roasts  and live music every Wednesday and Sunday night.  Dogs and children welcome.

Woods Bistro

Woods is a contemporary, spacious Cafe/Bistro situated in the historic Narrows at the top of the Totnes High Street. Woods offers quality food, to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. The cafe has a welcoming atmosphere and a spacious, pretty rear garden. Woods is family friendly and welcomes dogs. Gluten free and vegan options.

TQ9

The stylish TQ9 is located in the old stables area of the hotel; this restaurant has its own identity as a popular eating location within Totnes. The adjoining Champagne Bar offers an intimate destination where a glass of Champagne, wine or cocktail can be enjoyed with friends or that special someone. Our Seven Stars afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, a selection of our pastry chefs patisserie and homemade scones with Devon clotted cream is available every day. For an extra special treat why not include a glass of fizz. Serving times are 2.30pm – 5.30pm. We do advise booking in advance for our Traditional Afternoon Tea.  A traditional carvery is served every Sunday in TQ9 with a selection of locally roasted meats, seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings. Serving times are 12.00pm – 3.00pm and 6.00pm – 9.00pm.

The Pig & Whistle

A historic building (late 1700’s) with a sunny outside area for the summer and log burners in the winter await you at our award-winning pub. We use locally sourced fresh produce to create a range of exquisite food. Our menu is traditional with some delicious specials throughout the week. Seasonally you will find fresh local mussels, fresh fi sh, Brixham crab and local game. You can find locally produced real ales, wines and soft drinks on our extensive drinks menu. We feel blessed to have some wonderful produce available to us from the South West.
