Ben’s Wine & Tapas

Ben’s Wine & Tapas is a truly unique dining experience. Inspired by traditional tapas bars on the continent, you can expect a warm welcome, a relaxed, sociable evening and some of the finest food and wine available. Our menu boasts a wealth of ‘small plates’ that draw on influences from cuisines all over the world. Made from local, seasonal ingredients that are predominantly organic our tapas dishes are perfect for sharing and are even better with a glass or two of wine. We source directly from independent growers, specialising in mid-priced, moreish varieties that have been produced sustainably. We cater for a range of dietary requirements, offering vegan and gluten free menus alongside our meat and fish tapas. Don’t have time to dine in? No problem, just pop in and pick up a bottle of your favourite wine and some takeaway tapas to go instead. We’re open from 10 am, Monday to Saturday so early birds can take five and watch the world go by with a steaming cup of coffee and a cake from our tempting selection, all of which are handmade in our farm kitchen, just up the road in Staverton.

The Pig & Whistle

A historic building (late 1700’s) with a sunny outside area for the summer and log burners in the winter await you at our award-winning pub. Seasonally you will find fresh local mussels, fresh fi sh, Brixham crab and local game. You can find locally produced real ales, wines and soft drinks on our extensive drinks menu. We feel blessed to have some wonderful produce available to us from the South West.
