Of particular interest to visitors are: the magnificent 15th century sandstone rood screen; the Kempe stained glass window; the Willis organ built in 1861; the restored oak waggon roof; the fine brass candelabrum in the nave; the Blackhall monument and the memorial plaque to Walter Venning (1781-1821), Russian prison reformer.

Ben’s Farm Shop

Originally conceived over 35 years ago, when Ben himself sold his homemade sausages at Totnes Market, Ben’s Farm Shops focus on providing ‘good food from good farming’. In practical terms, that means that the produce we sell in our shops and the food we serve in our cafés is sourced directly from the producers/growers, is as local as possible, often organic and always just plain delicious. We stock a range of store cupboard essentials, meat from our butchery, a selection of fruit and veg, dairy products, wines, beers and much more. What better excuse do you need to step away from the supermarket trolley and shop local!
