Overview

Totnes is a captivating town set on one of Britain’s most picturesque and historically significant waterways, the River Dart. You can stroll down the River Dart to Longmarsh to admire the beauty of this historic waterway.

Once the old rifle range, now given over to wildlife, conservation and gentle recreation. This accessible riverside trail is right next to the River Dart, perfect for a simple stroll or dog walk. Start the path at Steamer Quay or Longmarsh itself, just past the Rowing Club. Vary the return route to come through the wooded (and sometimes muddy) conservation area. You may see all manner of bird life including kingfishers.

The Shops at Dartington
