Overview

Totnes and Berry Pomeroy Castle are both open from 10am – 5pm (last entry 30 minutes before). Dartmouth Castle is due to reopen from 17th May. Entry will be by pre-booked tickets only.

Totnes Castle
Is a focal point of Totnes and stands as a mighty legacy to the power of the Normans. It is one of the best surviving examples of an early Norman motte and bailey castle.

Berry Pomeroy Castle
Tucked away in a deep wooded valley, and reputed to be one of the most haunted castles in England.

Dartmouth Castle
Discover the castle’s colourful history including how it was besieged during the Civil War.

Totnes Castle and Berry Pomeroy Castle will open daily from 12th April  – 31st October and then weekends only. Dartmouth Castle will open from 17th May. Totnes Castle will be open for guided tours only until further notice.

A small, but beautifully formed gallery, White Space exhibits an excellent selection of paintings, prints, sculpture, jewellery and ceramics. Mostly southwest artists, but not exclusively. White Space Art also exhibits at several art fairs.

Apothespa

Apothespa & her sister company The Devon Soap Company currently has 4 boutiques throughout Devon. All our products are handmade in small batches on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor. Apothespa started on the kitchen table of its founder Lisa in 2004 and currently employs around 20 people.
