Walk Totnes to Dittisham

Overview

A perfect way to spend half a day (or more with stops along the way), this moderate walk will connect you to the beautiful village of Dittisham along the River Dart and runs through the pretty villages of Cornworthy, Tuckenhay and Ashprington.

Cornworthy is home to the ruins of a delightful gatehouse from a 14th-century nunnery which is well worth a shortstop, while the attractive hamlet of Tuckenhay will offer the chance to stop for refreshment. Ashprington is a very pretty, small village at the entranceway to Sharpham with a 15th-century church, beautiful stone cottages and two traditional pubs.
