Elizabethan Supper Party & Ceilidh

Totnes Mayor's Civic Charitable event from 7 - 10.15pm at the Civic Hall, Totnes. Shadow Puppetry Workshop

'What's 1 Degree to Me?' - Shadow Puppetry Workshop on Saturday 14th March from 10.30am to 4pm at Meadowbrook Community Centre, Dartington. Adults and children explore the causes of climate change, its effects and what we can do about it. A fun and informative, creative activity to engage the public and explore their questions and feelings. Participants make and perform their own shadow puppet scenes which can be videoed to share their messages. Ages 8 through to adults. Free to join - booking essential. Contact Kate to book.

Dartington Hall’s Spring Wedding Fair will take place on Sunday 5th April from 11am to 2pm. Explore the magical medieval venue in full wedding finery and quiz the friendly weddings team. Joglaresa: The Enchantress of Seville

A welcome return for one of our most popular ensembles!
Joglaresa explore the roots of Iberian song - from the motets from the convent of Las Huelgas, and Arab-Andalusian ballads, to Judeo-Spanish romanzas.
With medieval and traditional instruments from Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Joglaresa perform songs, kept alive through centuries of tradition - a colourful and timeless kaleidoscope of Occident and Orient connecting the Occident to the Orient, and the 11th to the 21st century.

Piggy Pilates

Pilates teacher Faith Taylor will be leading the Piggy Pilates sessions at Pennywell followed by coffee, continental breakfast and piggy cuddles. While there will be plenty of fun to be had, Pilates has many benefits including improving posture, movement quality, mobility, flexibility, mental cognition and core strength. The fitness Pilates classes are relaxed, non-intimidating and accessible to all. The experience begins at 9am and includes: -50 minutes of Piggy Pilates in the Farmyard (there is an undercover area if it's wet). -Coffee and continental breakfast in the Coffee Cabin -Piggy cuddles -Full admission into the Farm to stay and enjoy the rest of the day. Normal loose clothing will be fine - recommended that you bring a warm layer for afterwards. Please bring a mat or a towel. Tickets £35. Limited to 15 places per session.
