Along the way, up to 400 runners will sample various culinary delights and take onboard liquid refreshments at a host of different venues, all whilst wearing fancy dress.

This run is designed to be purely for fun and to raise vital funds for the Dartmouth Food Festival 2021.  It is most certainly not a race.  The distance is around 13 miles or so and will be tough in places but the views and scenery will be spectacular and the camaraderie and support will make it all worth it!!

The closing date for entry is 9pm on Sunday, 12th September 2021 and all entries must be received by then, all participants must be 18 or over.

Mothecombe Gardens – Open Tuesdays

Mothecombe House are opening their private gardens every Tuesday. Open from 10am – 4pm. Parking and contactless payment is at the Mothecombe Beach Car Park PL8 1LB Adults: £6 (£3 with a valid car parking ticket) Children 17 yrs – 5 yrs: £3 Infants 4yrs and under: Free To access the gardens, walk through Mothecombe village and enter through the stable doors as signposted. There is no access to the beach through the gardens. Mothecombe House and gardens are situated above Mothecombe beach, at the mouth of the Erme estuary on the Flete Estate. They are tucked under one side of a valley running down to the beach, so they are several degrees warmer than the village of Holbeton, two miles inland, and they are sheltered from the prevailing south-westerly salt-laden winds, allowing tender plants to flourish.  

The Elizabethans Are Back!

The popular Elizabethan costume market will re-open on Tuesday 22nd June and will be held every Tuesday until the end of September.
Stalls will offer good quality items and bargains for you and your loved ones. So visit us on Market Square where a warm welcome awaits you.
