Civic Hall Market

Every fourth Friday of the month there will be a new indoor market at the Civic Hall, Totnes with a collection of interesting and exciting stalls selling a variety of handmade products. Shelter from the elements and find delicious food to take away, arts & crafts, special gifts and much more. Open to visitors from 9 am - 4 pm. (Exhibitors set up from 8 am). Two Day Course with Steve Robinson Glass

Designed for those who have already attended one of our one-day fusing workshops, this two day course will help you develop your glass fusing with enamels skills even further. You will now learn how to cut glass (straight lines and circles) and also how to use fibre paper for simple mould-making to create relief in your glass (sometimes called kiln-carving). £595 per person, booking essential.

During this 1.5 to 2 hour workshop from 7 - 9 pm you will make your own curved tealight panel which we’ll fire for you overnight, ready for collection the next day. Inspiration Full Day Workshop with Steve Robinson Glass

Our ‘Inspiration’ full day workshop is the perfect choice for those who are less confident to design the artwork themselves, as Steve has come up with the ‘inspiration’ for you. You will make up to three wall panels of 25cm x 25cm. You can choose from designs which Steve has already produced. He will show you how to recreate these in the glass, using stencils that have already been prepared. £295 per person, booking essential.

SHAF – South Hams Arts Trail

As diverse as the artistic talents of SHAF members are the ways in which SHAF artists work and where they choose to exhibit their work. Some artists work on their kitchen tables, others in purpose-built studios; some work alone, others in an artists’ collective. So visitors to SHAF Arts Trail venues will find some artists exhibiting in their homes and studios, others in galleries, exhibition halls, and even pubs! Following the Arts Trail also provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the glorious South Hams and discover places (including cream tea venues) you never knew existed.

Forage & Feast at Sharpham Estate

Spend a day in the breathtaking grounds of Sharpham Estate with Brigit-Anna McNeill, learning to identify, pick safely and prepare seasonal wild foods. Re-connect to nature through plants and see with new eyes as you taste, touch and begin to understand the edible and medicinal plants that are all around you. This event costs £45 per person and is suitable for adults aged 16 or over. Price includes a foraged lunch.
