Sea Change is bringing it all back home. We are delighted to present three days of truly unique events in Totnes for Sea Change in May 2022.

Music, art, film, culture and conversations inside Totnes’ Grade I-listed St Mary’s Church, the ethically innovative Bull Inn, the gold-ceilinged Barrel House Ballroom, the 17th-century Birdwood House, the exquisitely-restored Totnes Cinema, the hugely important Civic Hall space and the award-winning Drift Record Shop among others.

On the Fringe – craft event

A one day craft event for local makers. Situated in the heart of Bovey Tracey in the Methodist Hall, this is an exciting show case of the Granite elements collective of artist and makers. Hosted at the same time as annual Craft Festival, Bovey Tracey truly is the epicentre of quality UK makers and designers at this time of year. We look forward to seeing you at our fringe event. Lukesland Garden – Open Sundays & Wednesdays

Lukesland is a 24-acre family-run garden in Dartmoor National Park, on the edge of Ivybridge, in the South Hams, Devon. Set in the picturesque valley of the Addicombe Brook, Lukesland is well-loved for its wonderful range of spring and autumn flowering shrubs and specimen trees, some dating from Victorian times. The garden and tea room will be open at the following times this year: SPRING OPENINGS 2022 SUNS, WEDS AND ALL BANK HOLS (THURS 2 & FRI 3 JUNE) 11 - 5 TILL 12 JUNE (THEN CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER) Please see our website for detailed directions to our gardens

Family Swoosh : Swim, Paddle, Float from Aveton Gifford to Bigbury-on-Sea. Explore 5km of beautifully remote and tranquil River Avon as we swim and paddle from Aveton Gifford to Bigbury-on-Sea. About this event. Find secret beaches or dig for cockles, we’ll drift down the Avon Estuary being swooshed down by the outgoing tide. Even on the wide and epic estuary you can relax knowing our qualified and watchful instructors are close by. We will begin and end at Bigbury-on-Sea where there is a lovely beach. It will be low tide at 12.20pm so the beach will be vast. There is a small cafe that sells food and drink and the Pilchard Inn is a tiny pub on the Island across the sand bar that connects at low tide. Bring a little shovel and spade – We may hunt for cockles & muscles along the way as we are going to the seaside after all. We will most certainly have a camp fire along the way for some scrumptious hot food. Appropriate for ages 3+, they must be able to fit into a buoyancy aid. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times during our journey. Each family gets at least 1 craft to paddle/sunbathe on/float next to. Instructors are likely to be wearing wetsuits (always check out the gear any instructor is wearing it is usually the best stuff for the job). Wear hats and long sleeves if it is very sunny.
