Indulge this Christmas and experience Totnes at its finest on Tuesday evenings in December. Devon’s most famed Late Night Shopping events run from 3.30-9.30pm on 3rd, 10th and 17th. Up through the High Street’s magnificent variety of shops intermingle delightful craft vendors and delicious food and mulled wine stalls. Buskers and carol singers will relax you into the Xmas shopping mood while the Cafes and Bars are open tempting you in with seasonal sparkle!

The unique and diverse Totnes market , packed with an atmospheric and seasonal variety of traders will feature bands, dancers and young local talents from the community. Add these dates to your festive diary now you can tick off your Xmas lists in this most magical location. Park and ride by donation from Follaton 5.30-10pm. What’s not to love?

Barn Dance

On Friday 18th October Ambios is holding the return of the annual Barn Raising, Barn Storming Barn Dance at Lower Sharpham Farm from 7 pm til late. This will be a fundraising event run by Ambios Ltd and United Response to help raise money for a new workshop on the farm. There will be live music from fantastic local ceilidh band "Banned from the Moor" and a cash only bar run by the brilliant Copper Stallion. It will be a truly wide ranging community event and all ages are welcome. Tickets will be £15 for adults (which includes a burger) and under 10s go free. More information can be found online.

Forage & Feast at Sharpham Estate

Spend a day in the breathtaking grounds of Sharpham Estate with Brigit-Anna McNeill, learning to identify, pick safely and prepare seasonal wild foods. Re-connect to nature through plants and see with new eyes as you taste, touch and begin to understand the edible and medicinal plants that are all around you. This event costs £45 per person and is suitable for adults aged 16 or over. Price includes a foraged lunch.
