Indulge this Christmas and experience Totnes at its finest on Tuesday evenings in December. Devon’s most famed Late Night Shopping events run from 3.30-9.30pm on 3rd, 10th and 17th. Up through the High Street’s magnificent variety of shops intermingle delightful craft vendors and delicious food and mulled wine stalls. Buskers and carol singers will relax you into the Xmas shopping mood while the Cafes and Bars are open tempting you in with seasonal sparkle!

The unique and diverse Totnes market , packed with an atmospheric and seasonal variety of traders will feature bands, dancers and young local talents from the community. Add these dates to your festive diary now you can tick off your Xmas lists in this most magical location. Park and ride by donation from Follaton 5.30-10pm. What’s not to love?

Dining Trains at South Devon Railway

Join one of our popular Dining Trains from Buckfastleigh station and enjoy a traditional Sunday Lunch or Afternoon Tea. Sunday Lunch Enjoy a traditional three course Sunday Lunch aboard the 12.15 pm train from Buckfastleigh. Drinks are available to purchase from the at-seat bar service. Tickets are available to purchase in ‘tables of two’ or ‘tables of four’ and multiples thereof. We regret that due to the seating layout of the train it is not possible to purchase individual tickets or other than in multiples of two or four. Afternoon Tea Join the Restaurant Car from Buckfastleigh at 4:25 pm for a traditional Afternoon Tea of Sandwiches, Savories, Cakes and a Cream Tea served to your seat. Afternoon Tea has options for Vegetarians - must be pre booked. The Experience lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes and is the ideal way to indulge in traditional West Country delicacies whilst enjoying the beautiful Devon scenery. Every Thursday from April to the end of October, meet local guide Kathy Alexander at 10.30 am at the Tourist Information Office, Market Square. Learn about the history of the town in an informal and friendly walk. £5 per person, £3 under 16's.

The Spooky Men's Chorale are coming to Totnes! This world-renowned group has been delighting audiences across the globe for years so the townsfolk of Totnes and the surrounding region are in for a real treat.
