King William IV

Situated in the centre of Totnes, this town centre pub makes it the perfect choice for a one night stay or short break. We have five comfortable rooms available with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are light, airy, en-suite, complete with courtesy trays, TV and WiFi. One of our large premium rooms over looks the lovely Totnes high street. We offer both double and twin rooms, all with large bright windows. With its classic lunchtime menu, and bistro-style evening menu, The King William IV is also wonderful for dining and sampling the delights of home made food from local produce. The King William offers room only, however we recommend our sister pub The Dartmouth Inn which serves full English breakfasts from 9:00am and is located just a couple of minutes walk down the street.

The Tall House Bed And Breakfast

A very warm welcome awaits you at The Tall House, including tea and cake! The Tall House is at least 200 years old, we can trace its occupancy back to the early 19th century. It was the first village Post Office. The curved shape of the house is reflected inside, and the rooms contain many attractive features and bespoke fittings made by your host, who is a talented furniture maker. Rendered, and with a slate roof, a pretty English country style garden fronts the property which has views over the surrounding pastoral farmland. Your large room is recently and tastefully refurbished and has a comfortable seating area with a view of the surrounding farmland from the huge sash window. Attached to your room is a private en suite with a toilet and shower.  Coffee and tea making facilities are provided and a full English breakfast using local and organic ingredients. Unfortunately we do not accept four legged friends.

Stay at Dartington Hall

The Cott Inn

The Cott Inn is a stunning 14th-century thatched pub situated in the peaceful village of Dartington, less than 2 miles from Totnes and surrounded by beautiful countryside. This family owned inn serves award winning food and local ales and ciders, and offers overnight accommodation in luxury boutique bedrooms.

Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with cosy log fires during the winter months and a large pretty garden with a new alfresco kitchen serving delicious food throughout the summer. Weekly events include the famous fish and chip night on Tuesday evenings serving fresh locally line-caught fish, fabulous Sunday roasts  and live music every Wednesday and Sunday night.  Dogs and children welcome.

Bay Horse Inn

Our traditional real ale pub at the top of town is just a short stroll to the historic centre. With a welcoming interior and fabulous garden, the pub has 3 en-suite rooms, the spacious Coach House Suite features a luxurious bathroom, garden outlook and easily converts to a family share. We offer superb real ale, lager, wine and cider, complemented by locally sourced daytime food. Regular music nights feature jazz and folk, as well as an Open Mic each Thursday. Owner Kathy, a qualified guide, runs regular town walks from April to October or takes private bookings year round. Room-only and B&B rates available.

Glenarm B&B

An airy, light and spacious attic space in our family home with a double bed (co-sleeping cot and extra bed available). En suite shower and toilet. 3 minute walk from Totnes Station, town centre and river. DIY breakfasts, organic where possible; dietary restrictions catered for.

An extra double mattress can be put down if needed.

Self catering studio flat also available.

Stoke Gabriel Lodgings

The Great Grubb

A short walk from the town but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle is our family-run B&B ‘The Great Grubb’. We strive to give you a memorable stay and offer a breakfast of fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurts, juices and a cooked selection prepared individually. We try to cater for all diets including vegetarians, vegan, dairy free and celiac/coeliac. All our rooms are en-suite with free WiFi, TV/DVD player, hair dryer, towels, toiletries, tea & filter coffee and filtered water. Our rooms have double, king size, super king size or twin beds.

Enjoy our peaceful conservatory, patio & terraced garden. We are pet friendly in rooms 2,4 and 7, can accommodate travel cots in rooms 3 and 4 and have private off–street parking at the front of the house.

The Old Forge

A warm welcome and exceptional hospitality are assured all the year round at this charming, 600 year old stone building. The coach arch leads into a delightful south facing walled garden and some rooms have their own garden patio or terrace. Ground floor rooms also available.

This year, extensive refurbishments have taken place in all bedrooms and guests areas and all rooms are en-suite. Family accommodation available, all ages welcome. Excellent breakfast menu catering for vegetarians, special diets and offering a fabulous buffet including seasonal fruits from the garden. Set within a very quiet location, however only a five minute walk to the centre of Totnes and close to the River Dart with easy access to the railway and local transport.
