Cott Inn

The Cott Inn is a stunning 14th-century thatched pub situated in the peaceful village of Dartington, less than 2 miles from Totnes and surrounded by beautiful countryside. This family owned inn serves award winning food and local ales and ciders, and offers overnight accommodation in luxury boutique bedrooms.

Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with cosy log fires during the winter months and a large pretty garden with a new alfresco kitchen serving delicious food throughout the summer. Weekly events include the famous fish and chip night on Tuesday evenings serving fresh locally line-caught fish, fabulous Sunday roasts  and live music every Wednesday and Sunday night.  Dogs and children welcome.

The Old Forge

A warm welcome and exceptional hospitality are assured all the year round at this charming, 600 year old stone building. The coach arch leads into a delightful south facing walled garden. Choose from a variety of en-suite bedrooms, including, family, ground floor rooms, two-bedroom cottage - some also have their own garden patio or terrace. Four Seasons Guest House

Owners have an extensive Covid 19 risk assessment - available upon request. They are using the appropriate cleaning products and have the 80% recommended hand gel in the porch before guests enter the property and in reception. We have been awarded with the Visit England Good to Go Industry Standard Certificate.

We are a family run bed and breakfast, catering for people looking for short, long or weekend breaks, summer holidays or working in Totnes or South Devon area. Only 300 yards from the centre of Totnes and close to all amenities.

All our rooms are en-suite, comfortably furnished and have TV, beverage tray, toiletries, towels, radio clock alarm and hairdryer. We have a ground floor room for those with slight mobility problems. Residents lounge also on the ground floor and free WiFi throughout.

Situated in the beautiful Elizabethan market town of Totnes, we are only a short walk from the railway station, castle and town centre. Whilst Covid infections remain a national concern, we continue to maintain the highest standards of cleaning and a comprehensive set of precautions to ensure guest safety.These are detailed on our Covid19 information page HERE on our website. We have been awarded the Visit England Good to Go Industry Standard Certificate.

Our selection of single, double, king and twin rooms are all en-suite and include free WiFi, a flat screen TV, hair dryer, towels, toiletries and complimentary refreshments. Ground floor rooms are available for those with slight mobility problems. Guests enjoy unlimited access to the conservatory, south-facing patio and terraced garden. We serve a comprehensive breakfast menu and are very experienced in catering for those with specific dietary needs.

Our large private carpark and storage areas for bikes are both CCTV monitored. Families with young children welcome. Seasonal special offers and discounts for larger group bookings are often available.

King William IV

Situated in the centre of Totnes, this town centre pub makes it the perfect choice for a one night stay or short break. We have five comfortable rooms available with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are light, airy, en-suite, complete with courtesy trays, TV and WiFi. One of our large premium rooms over looks the lovely Totnes high street. We offer both double and twin rooms, all with large bright windows. With its classic lunchtime menu, and bistro-style evening menu, The King William IV is also wonderful for dining and sampling the delights of home made food from local produce. The King William offers room only, however we recommend our sister pub The Dartmouth Inn which serves full English breakfasts from 9:00am and is located just a couple of minutes walk down the street.

Appalachian Spring

Luxury en-suite double rooms with 5ft beds and amazingly comfortable mattresses. Delicious Continental-type breakfasts, or full English available with locally produced bacon, sausages and eggs. Vegetarian and Vegan options. WiFi, TV’s, tea/coffee trays, organic fudge and biscuits, hairdryers and dressing gowns. Carafes of filtered water. We have been awarded with the Visit England Good to Go Industry Standard Certificate.

Bay Horse Inn

Our traditional real-ale pub at the top of town is just a short stroll to Totnes’ historic centre (where landlady Kathy regularly gives guided tours). We have three welcoming double rooms (one king-size convertible to family share). Single and room-only rates available as well as full B&B. We are 'the little pub with a big garden', offering an excellent selection of ales, lagers, wine and regional ciders, and customers are welcome to BYO food from the great takeaways on offer nearby. Regular music nights feature jazz, folk sessions, open-mic and songwriter nights. Pub Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 3.30pm to 11pm.

7 The Grove

7, The Grove is an old Totnes farmhouse which is now part of a terrace of houses close to the centre of town. Despite being in the middle of Totnes, it is a peaceful and ,on a fine day, a sunny place to stay. Guests have a bedroom, with a large double bed, inter-connecting sitting- room and a bathroom to themselves. A spare bedroom is available for children or extra adults. Through the house and up some steps there is a surprisingly large and open garden. From the guest rooms there are good views of both the garden and of the town and surrounding hills.

Guests are served with a delicious breakfast which includes freshly made bread, fruit and homemade jams.
There is parking at the front of the house.
