The Old Forge

In light of the current situation we'd like to highlight that many of the rooms have their own front door and outside private space plus there is a lovely patio and peaceful garden area. One of the rooms also has a private balcony. For breakfast Julie is able to offer the dining room, conservatory and gardens as eating spaces with plenty of room for the 2 metres distancing and a la carte food from the kitchen.

A warm welcome and exceptional hospitality are assured all the year round at this charming, 600 year old stone building. The coach arch leads into a delightful south facing walled garden and some rooms have their own garden patio or terrace. Ground floor rooms also available.

This year, extensive refurbishments have taken place in all bedrooms and guests areas and all rooms are en-suite. Family accommodation available, all ages welcome. Excellent breakfast menu catering for vegetarians, special diets and offering a fabulous buffet including seasonal fruits from the garden. Set within a very quiet location, however only a five minute walk to the centre of Totnes and close to the River Dart with easy access to the railway and local transport.

Totnes offers a wide selection of independent shops and The Old Forge offers special discounts when dining in some of the local restaurants. Free WiFi throughout & own car park. Seasonal Special Offers.
